The Final Word from Cairo

Some of the final quotes from President Obama’s Cairo speech to the Muslim world include, “We have the power to make the world we seek…The people of the world can live together in peace. We know this is God’s vision.”

President Obama seems to think that a consensus of nations can plot their own future. He overlooks the fact that according to his Bible the final alignment of the nations has already been established by the sovereign God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. When men think that the alignment of nations is at its strongest, it will really be at its weakest. Man’s final attempt to align the nations into a one-world system was described by the prophet Daniel over 2,500 years ago. The history of the rise and fall of the nations was revealed in King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream interpreted by Daniel.

“You, O king, are a king of kings. For the God of heaven has given you a kingdom, power, strength, and glory…but after you shall arise another kingdom inferior to yours; then another, a third kingdom…which shall rule over all the earth. And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron… whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly if iron, the kingdom shall be …partly strong and partly fragile. As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay…they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay. And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever…” Daniel 2:37-44

God’s sovereignty over the nations was confirmed shortly after Daniel interpreted the above dream when Nebuchadnezzar had a second dream.

“…this is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the Most High…the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses.’” Daniel 4:24-25

In view of the above proclamation, President Obama had the audacity to say that man has “the power to make the world we seek.” The president then addressed the noble goal of the entire world living together in peace.

“And Jesus answered and said to them: ‘take heed that no one deceives you…you will hear of wars and rumors of wars…for nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom…these are the beginning of sorrows.’” Matthew 24: 4, 6-7

“But concerning the times and the seasons…the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, ‘Peace and safety!’ then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman…”
I Thessalonians 5:1-3

“Then I (Jeremiah) said, ‘Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, the prophets say to them, ‘you shall not see the sword…but I will give you assured peace in this place.’ And the LORD said to me, ‘The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision…and the deceit of their heart.’” Jeremiah 14:13-14

While peace is an admirable goal it will not come about as suggested by president Obama. Peace will only come after man has made many futile attempts to achieve it on their own. According to President Obama’s own Bible peace will only be realized after Christ returns to judge the kings of the earth and then He Himself will align and rule the nations.

“The Lord…shall execute kings in the day of His wrath. He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries.” Psalm 110:5-6

“He shall rule them with a rod of iron; they shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels…” Revelation 2:27

Therefore, the president’s words, “the people of the world can live together in peace…we know this is God’s vision” are really just his own vision and his naïve assessment of reality.

Inasmuch as Mr. Obama is our president, we should give him the benefit of the doubt and trust that he really thinks that he is saying and doing the right things. However, he is really speaking in total contradiction to his own Bible. But his words have great appeal to the politically correct and the Islamic community. Islamic nations now know that we will not impede their progress with their imperialistic agenda. Not only will we not impede them but we are enabling them to pursue their goals. For Example Mr. Obama stated in his Cairo speech: “That is why I am committed to working with American Muslims to ensure that they can fulfill “Zakat.” Zakat is defined as obligatory charitable giving by Muslims which is one of the “Five Pillars of Islam.” Mr. Obama’s pledge to help in this area will most likely be found in revisions to our tax code.

This series has in no way intended to be anti Obama but rather to expose the inconsistencies of his Cairo speech where he claims that his vision and strategy is the same as “God’s vision” for the nations. There are absolutely no similarities in the two.

Perhaps when the “cash for clunkers” program expires America will be awakened to her real challenges. It is a sad truth that we are becoming more passive and tolerant of the enemy every day while each day they are becoming more determined to bring “real change” to America.

Irreconcilable Differences

President Obama went on to state in his Cairo speech to the world of Islam, “So let there be no doubt: Islam is a part of America…Moreover, freedom in America is indivisible from the freedom to practice one’s religion. That is why there is a mosque in every state of our union, and over 1,200 mosques within our borders…and I believe that…all of us share common aspirations – to live in peace and security…this is the hope of all humanity.”

There is so much more involved in this issue than just granting permission for a foreign religion to exist in America because Islam is so much more than just a religion; it is a total socio-economic and political system that dominates every detail of human life. In the long term Islam will never be content to practice their religion quietly in a non Muslim country and yet in this speech Mr. Obama stated, “Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance.” Islam strategically uses our political correctness and anti-discrimination laws to accomplish their ultimate goal of dominating America with their religion and law and they will succeed unless we take a stand.

The teachings of the Koran and the Bible are irreconcilably contradictory as are the political ideologies of Islam and any nation founded on Biblical precepts. They are mutually exclusive and cannot perpetually coexist, and consequently one side must ultimately prevail at the expense of the other’s demise. In America we still have the freedom to choose, thanks in no small part to those willing to die for its cause.

Contrary to some of Obama’s recent statements, polls reveal that the majority of Americans still believe that America is a Christian nation founded on Biblical principles. The majority of Americans state that they believe the contents of the Bible which they recognize have been proven through history over and over again.

The major difference between Christianity and the religion of Islam is Jesus. Islam vehemently denies the deity of Christ and relegates Jesus as a major prophet who was succeeded by Mohammed. Islam also denies the death of Christ and teaches that the prophet Jesus was taken directly to paradise alive and will return to earth some day as a Muslim.

The central themes of Christianity, however, include that Christ is God the Son and was crucified as the required payment of sin for all mankind. The Bible states that He was buried but then arose from the grave as proof that His sacrificial death was accepted by God the Father. He then ascended to Heaven.

“I and My Father are one.” John 10:30

“He (Christ) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation…All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.” Colossians 1:15-17

“And He, bearing His cross, went out to a place…which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha, where they crucified Him…” John 19:15

“Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid. So there they laid Jesus…” John 19:41-42

“Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you…saying, ‘The Son of Man must be…crucified, and the third day rise again’” Luke 24:6-7

Islam will never accept these Biblical teachings because these passages nullify the core of their Koran. The Koran states:

• In blasphemy indeed are those that say that God is Christ the son of Mary…Surah 5:17

• That they said in boast, “We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah”…but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them…for a surety they killed him not – nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself…Surah 4:157-8

During the Cairo speech President Obama referred to himself as “…an African American with the name of Barack Hussein Obama.” While he modestly downplayed this description during the presidential campaign, one wonders what would have been the political fallout if John McCain had used these words to describe his opponent. Now president Obama is attempting to identify with and forge a “partnership” with an ideology absolutely contrary to the very foundation on which America was built. TARP, bailouts, stimulus packages, cap and trade, cash for clunkers, and health care reform are as nothing when compared with our president’s conciliatory stance on a religion and political ideology that is totally anti-American and whose proponents seek to conquer us either by stealth or by force.

President Obama also stated, “…so let there be no doubt, Islam is part of America.” Yes, Mr. President, you speak the truth in this statement. And we are watering and fertilizing the field in which it is growing.

It may appear to be virtuous to be tolerant of another’s religion, but it is not a virtue to identify with or partner with any group or activity that seeks to destroy America and all that she stands for. There will be a price to be paid. Our children and children’s children will have far fewer freedoms than we enjoy today if we continue on the path of “reconciliation.”

President Obama also said in a previous speech in Turkey, “I made it clear that America is not – and never will be – at war with Islam.” The truth is that Islam is at war with us and we are not in the least defending ourselves. It’s a shame that our nation’s leaders are not as passionate about preserving our freedoms as Islam is about destroying them.

“Let There Be No Mistake…”

“Islam is not part of the problem in combating violent extremism – it is an important part of promoting peace.” This is more rhetoric from president Obama’s Cairo speech to the Muslim world. I’m not sure how he arrived at that conclusion, but I will list several statements from Islamic leaders on the subject of peace with Israel and America which are in direct conflict with Mr. Obama’s assessment of the Islamic viewpoint. The Islamic leaders quoted below include the present and past presidents of Iran, the leaders of Hezbollah, Hamas, and Fatah, and other international Islamic spokespersons.

• Israel is a tumor that must be wiped off the map.

• There is no other solution for the Palestinian problem other than jihad. All the initiatives and international conferences are a waste of time and futile game. Hamas seeks to fulfill the Qur’anic scripture which reads: “…The time will not come until Muslims will fight the Jews and kill them; until the Jews hide behind rocks and trees which will cry: O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, come on and kill him!”

• Anyone who reads the Qur’an and the holy writings…cannot think of co-existence with them (Jews) or about accepting their presence…because they are a cancer.

• If the Jews all gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide.

• There is no solution to the conflict in this region except with the disappearance of Israel.

• Put a knife in your shirt, then get close to an Israeli occupier and stab him.

• Let the entire world hear me. Our hostility to the Great Satan (America) is absolute. Regardless of how the world has changed after 9/11, “Death to America” will remain our reverberating and powerful slogan.

• The Jews (can be characterized as) the “grandsons of apes and pigs,” and as “Allah’s most cowardly and greedy creatures.”

• There is no dialogue between us (Muslims and Jews) except by the sword and the rifle…”

• It is an open war until the elimination of Israel and until the death of the last Jew on earth.

• You (Jews) will be defeated with God’s help.

• Even if the United States gave us all its money in return for recognizing Israel and giving up one inch of Palestine, we would never do so…

• The victory march will continue until the Palestinian flag flies in Jerusalem and in all of Palestine. We will not bend or fail until the blood of every last Jew from the youngest child to the oldest elder is spilt to redeem our land!

• Today, the Iranian people are the owner of nuclear technology… If some believe they can keep talking to the Iranian people in the language of threats and aggressiveness, they should know that they are making a bitter mistake. If they have not realized this by now, they soon will, but then it will be too late.

• The use of a nuclear bomb in Israel will leave nothing on the ground…

• We have announced that wherever in Iran America does make any mischief, the first place we target will be Israel.

This is merely a sampling of the depth of the hatred that Islam has for Israel and America. As Muslims themselves state, there is no chance for a peaceful solution. They allow no room for compromise. The interesting thing is that President Obama’s Bible confirms that very same thing.

It is really a mystery why our president would offer an olive branch to Iran, especially by using Israel as a pawn. There is no question that the Obama administration is in the process of “strong arming” Israel in order to gain favor with other Arab nations. Israel’s Netanyahu, however, is holding his ground, although not entirely for the right reasons.

According to the Bible there will indeed be a showdown between Ishmael’s Allah and Isaac’s Jehovah in the near future and it will be initiated by Jehovah.

“For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem…” Zechariah 14:2

“… It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes.” Ezekiel 38:16

“And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord GOD, “that My fury will show in My face. For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: …I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains…every man’s sword will be against his brother. And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the LORD.” Ezekiel 39:18-23

It remains a mystery why a Christian president would forge foreign policy totally out of sync with the Bible.
